[M.E]

Hi! I'm Karim, a game dev working on M.E, a project that's a dream come true for me. M.E it's made in Godot and it came from an idea I'd had for a long time, inspired by my favorite genres — Roguelike-lite, boss fights, and a Fast-paced style — so why not combine them? I'd say the game is pretty challenging... I'd really appreciate your feedback, since M.E is the first game I've worked on, and even more so because it's solo. I have to say that I'm using AI tools for the programing because I don't have the knowledge to do the things I want to implement, but I'm watching a lot of tutorials/videos to learn how to do everything by myself. I have a lot of respect for all the devs who put in the effort to bring these unique experiences to life, and I'd love to be part of that.

I have a lot of ideas I want to implement in M.E, like spectacular visuals with a retro aesthetic — I take a lot of inspiration from Skate Story's art style and games with similar art, but trying to have my own identity without copying anyone. I also want to improve the combat, make it a bit more frantic, so you can take on the bosses without getting dizzy in the process, haha. M.E is expected to launch its first phase with 3 realms, 9 unique bosses, roguelite-roguelike mechanics, enhanced and immersive visuals, unique audio for the HUB and each of the bosses and MULTIPLAYER. I understand the challenge and the work ahead is quite a lot, especially since I also want to implement a small narrative so everything in my head makes sense — but I'll just say one thing: M.E is closer to you than you think...
